Hi Everyone. I just received my organic seed potatoes and need a bit more info on how to plant them. I watched the March vignette and am now a little confused. Should i just plant them 4 inches deep in my prepared raised planter? Should i plant the potatoes in a tray indoors to get them to sprout? If so only half the potato is covered with soil? Do i put them under the grow lights or keep them in the dark (wondering as Andrew had his in a storage area, dark?) Do i plant the green slips or the whole potato? Thanks muchly, Lana

You can start your potatoes indoors dug into a bucket of moist soil. This will pre-sprout them. By mid-April plant them in your garden around 4" below the surface.
