is white fungus growing on undigested food scraps ok for worms to eat?

white fungus is growing on uneaten food scraps in my worm bin. is it ok to leave it in there or should i remove it?

I am so glad you asked as I was just about to post the same question:) I think I remembering seeing an IG story from Andrew with a wormbin that did have white fungus and it was ok. But I will let him confirm that ;)

I just watched the Composting Q + A with Andrew and he said that white fungus on food scraps is perfectly fine. Only an issue if it's green, red or starting to smell moldy

White fungus that looks like thin hairs is actually a sign of a healthy, thriving environment!
