Using bokashi inoculant in worm bin
In one of the videos Andrew mentioned using the Bokashi inoculate in the worm bin to aid decomposition. How does that work? Don’t we want the bokashi bran to be anaerobic? When it’s exposed to oxygen how do the microbes work differently? Thanks!

The idea of using bokashi in a worm bin is to restore balance, which often isn't present when a bin is first started and can help the bin be a little more forgiving in the beginning. It is not necessary, truly optional. When applying I sprinkle lightly a thin layer and then place food waste on top. As always with worm bins, don't cover the entire surface. Best practice when feeding is to only feed half so the worms have somewhere else to go if it causes any problems.
