Hi Andrew. We are going to Europe for 3.5 months (Dec. to mid March) and I am worried about what to do with our worm bin. We were away for 5 weeks this September and they had eaten all the food I’d stock piled in their bin and were hiding in the soil in the bottom. Should I set them free? Can I stock pile 18” of stuff and hope for the best? Also, half the bin is now what could be considered soil which I’ve left and am wondering if I should have.
Our worms seem healthy otherwise. We have the three tub worm system which seems to be fine for us so far.
Please advice. Thank you.
Trixi Agrios.

Thanks Dan! The’ll be snug in the kitchen and I am getting someone to come in to feed them. They’re spoiled. Hopefully they’ll reward me in the spring.
