Hi there,
In the first module, you discussed using leaves and anything available in your garden as a good mulch. I have black walnut trees that provide plenty of leaves but I also know that there is an issue with the chemical juglone for some plants. Can you please comment on the use of walnut leaves in ones compost, as well as, in mulch.
Thanks

I would NOT recommend mulching with cedar or walnut leaves. They are perfectly fine in compost, but as a mulch layer they can impair growth.KGH wrote: ↑Fri 07-Jan-2022, 13:33 Hi there,
